Overall, I have really enjoyed this class at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. I have learned a lot about how to properly conduct an interview, how to stage a shot, and how to overall be a professional film editor and producer. Even though I already knew a lot about Final Cut Pro, I learned a lot of new tips and tricks that I can use in the future. Thank you so much for this opportunity to help expand my interests and learn more about something very interesting!

For our final interview project, I chose to make my subject my very close friend, Poorva Sheth. The reason I chose her was because of her wonderful accomplishments regarding community service and giving back for the greater good. A few years back, Poorva created an organization called Kare for Kids. a tennis clinic for children with disabilities. You can learn more about her efforts and her story along with more information about the clinic by watching my interview on here below!
Overall. I really enjoyed the independence we were given on this project, I chose to work alone rather than working with a partner because I felt like I could be more creative on my own doing the exact topic I was interested in and inspired by. Although going solo is a harder route, I believe my final product is better than anything I could have made with a partner. I really like the happy and personal touches I added to my interview because it really shows the environment Kare for Kids creates for its visitors. I also think my interview looks very professional because it is fun yet very simple. Thank you for this opportunity to seek out such an awesome experience and allowing me to record it all! |
